Product Description

The ASICS GEL-TROUNCE 2 Women's Running Shoes are specifically designed for those runners who overpronate. To compensate for overpronating, the design incorporates special design features which giving added support. The DuoMax Support System technology makes up a dual-density midsole, which is positioned sport-specifically in order to enhance the support and stability of the foot. This works alongside the Trusstic System, which helps to reduce the weight of the sole unit while still maintaining the structural integrity of the shoe while the solid rubber outsole provides enhanced durability and traction while running. Rearfoot GEL cushioning is designed to attenuate the shock and initial impact of the landing phase, adding comfort and support while better protecting the foot from the ground. California Slip Lasting is designed to create extra stability and increase the level of comfort by stitching the upper around a canvas or EVA board and directly attaching it to the midsole. The open mesh upper provides excellent comfort and allows a high level of breathability to ensure the wearer can stay cool, dry and comfortable. A removable EVA sockliner is moulded to the curvature of the foot for added support and comfort and can be removed to wash to keep the inner shoe fresher. This sockliner can also be removed and replaces with a medical orthotic if necessary.
